Dr. Robert George DDS was first exposed to the dangers of untreated Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), and the life-changing treatments for OSA, in the early 1990’s when he worked with the earliest Sleep Medicine experts on the Peninsula. This group met at Riverside Hospital and included surgeons, pulmonologists, and dental professionals who recognized that there is not one solution for every OSA patient, and were all working to find custom solutions for each patient.
Dr. George now joins the Coastal Sleep and TMJ Team to help continue the standard of providing comprehensive Oral Appliance options and care for the patients of our medical colleagues when those patients do not want or choose not to use CPAP.
Additional Information:
- Has served multiple terms on the York County School Board
- Has traveled multiple times to Thailand to provide missionary dental care to those less fortunate with debilitating oral pain and infection.
